While pondering on my eye infection - believe me, I never had one til last night - I resolved to ponder in writing.
Actually, I woke up around 3 in the morning, with my eyes shut.
Felt like super glue.
I don´t know how you guys are, but in my case, it triggered a lot of introspection.
After all, where the heck are you going to look with your eyes shut?
Inside, that´s where.
No mirrors, no voices from anyone bugging your ass.
There´s stillness and my amusing self - acceptance I have learned to love.
My son is biting everyone and everything ^^ (kind of looks familiar sometimes)
I am having a divorce
Also moving out
The really fascinating side is, that I am actually having a peaceful divorce,
which I am really greatful for.
There are phases in your life
(one of my aunts laughed at this, considering I was being too philosophical for my age)
when you learn.
Then you move on and enter a kind of shifting space and go to the next level.
Nobody has a looking glass or a crystal ball (and those who have, don´t really share that skill ;) easily) to actually KNOW what it going to happen.
What I can say: be true to yourself.
When the moment comes to grab the raging bull by the horns, GRAB THEM and HOLD ON.
Trust me: it BEATS being stampeeded over...
do your OWN kind of thing and be original.
Even more, go find your bull. Sit on its head, I really don´t care only get a hold of that sucker.
Be bold and do it.
It´s there, inside.
and when you
look with your eyes shut
you will find that it´s easier than you thought.

Discovering The Mind Of Water
Do you know the feeling, when it all just seems meaningless?
You wonder if anything makes sense, if you did the right things, if you
have been a major screw-up and things like that.
I discover that THIS is the exact time, when you discover that
A. there has been something under the surface you were missing in the big picture
B. there is a quiet, sneaky and beautiful little opportunity that is waiting shyly for your attention
C. your personal development HAD to come this far, so that you continue to the next step
Yesterday I had that pointless sort of "blah-blah" feeling I mentioned before.
I was really tired of bitching about it, so
I said to myself:
what the hack!
this feeling might as well disappear,
I am in no mood to care about this now.
About 10 minutes later, my friend Antonia told me about a wonderful opportunity...
and just like that I found myself
face to face with the possibility of a marvellous chance.
Through the back door.
... a totally moral-boosting experience.
All of this when I had actually let go of my normal fighting pattern.
Keep discovering yourself!
As the Japanese say:
Be with a mind of water.
I believe it comes naturally.

Allow Yourself To Trust Yourself
Usually we loose touch with the essence of our existence over time.
We hurry, we are busy, we run, constantly racing time, people and shadows.
Trust in your own strength.
Listen to yourself, your body and the feedback that comes from them.
And when you decide things, decide for yourself.
Don´t decide for your parents, teachers, friends beliefs.
It can be painful when you allow the overload on information to overpower your
own spirit.
Nobody will ask if you did the right thing or not.
But you - sometimes you alone - are capable to feel that.
Trust yourself for being YOU. Live it. Love it.
Nobody else can do that :)

How To Leap Into Faith
How do you decide what path to take?
How do you decide to live?
Most importantly, do you decide to learn?
My situation is pushing me with an incredible force to ponder such subjects,
as I feel my old value systems and those I thought new collapse.
How does one take and choose a path, when the
road is not visible... when existence is pounding on the door of your body,
when responsibility, compassion and duty collide?
...when passion has become something still ringing within, however subtle,
like the sound of a chord...persisting in music with every vibe.
I do not make an attempt to have answers... there are but feeble answers
one has in the face of life - except life itself.
Finding myself confronted with all versions of my past, my desires, most of all
my fears, I shall surrender to faith.
Knowing that the leap of faith will move that great wheel of fortune
many of us dread, and some of us have learned to love.
I shall dare and listen to that chord... and expand my boundaries.
I hesitate, I fear, I am nothing but a flash of life.
Yet maybe, if I take the leap of faith,
just by doing it..... I may revive a mission I once held sacred and true.
Maybe... it is the harmony of the universe.

Pesticides - or how it is attempted to test the Romanian people with this
Yesterday evening a very good friend of mine had me read this.
If you can read romanian, or are a romanian citizen, read the article in the link below - and take action according to your conscience.
If you aren´t familiar with the romanian language, read below the link. I will translate freely the key issues of this "experiment". I felt this is information that needs to be shared. After all, if animal abuse is opposed violently for medical test reasons, why and how is it possible that this type of toxic substance is scheduled for tests on HUMANS?? This is against human rights.

This is a petition adressed to the Romanian Authorities signed by Romanian Citizens, to oppose the planned use of a substance called initium as a pesticide.
The use is planned on grapevines, potatoe-, tomatoe- and onion plantations, to eliminate pest problems.
Initium is described to be highly toxic for the human organism. It can´t be expelled through the metabolism, therefore creates residual initium in the body.
This substance is said to help malignant cancer cells grow faster and that it can promote the growth of colon cancer for instance.
Romanians who read this are called upon to sign this petition, so that the government does not approve the use of this pesticide.

freedom to happiness
All everyone ever hears is war, crisis and death.
It is important to me to write this, as I experience powerful personal change lately.
How about starting to emphasize the positive? instead of dreading the 90% angst of the world.
For me, personal freedom is freedom of expression.
I don´t intend to meet expectations-
I will start here, now, with small things and make progress.
A striking quote (only refrasing) that I remember from one of my favoured books is:
just because you never saw a black swan, doesn´t mean it doesn´t exist.
The book is called "The Black Swan" by N.N. Taleb
I´d like to add to this,...it also doesn´t mean that such a black swan can´t teach you something new.
In this endeavour of learning, I know that in our time it is time to challenge the old and embrace the shining new. Dare to be you.
